FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I charge my ROC?
To charge your ROCs, remove them from the wristbands. The charging port is located on the back. Connect the included magnetic USB charging cable to each ROC. This cable features dual charging heads, allowing you to charge both ROCs simultaneously. Each head is magnetized to ensure it connects in one direction only. Please use only the provided charging cable; other cables may have reversed polarity and could damage the ROCs.
Where can I get full instructions?
You can find instructions by scanning the QR code on the side of the package. Digital instructions are also available. You can also access it here.
What else do I need to use the ROC?
To use the ROC, download our free app, "Let's ROC!”, from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Additionally, you will need to bring your own Bluetooth speaker to the pickleball court to enable score announcements.
Are there ads in the app?
No, our app is completely ad-free.
Is there a subscription fee to use the app?
No, the "Let's ROC!" app is entirely free to use with no subscription fees on either Apple or Android platforms.
Where else can I purchase the ROC?
You can purchase the ROC here.
Why can't I find ROC on Amazon?
We chose not to sell on Amazon to keep prices low. Our mission is "More Pickleball, Always Fun Time!" and large platforms like Amazon charge higher fees, which can increase costs for players.
Can I get the ROC outside of USA?
Currently, the ROC is only available in the USA. If you're interested in becoming an international distributor, please contact us at marketing@FuntimePB.Com.
What kind of Bluetooth Speaker should I use?
Our app is compatible with almost any Bluetooth speaker. We recommend selecting a portable speaker with sufficient output power for the court and testing it with the ROC and our app prior to actual gameplay.
What is the best practice to use the ROC on a pickleball court?
For optimal use, follow these steps:
- Connect the ROCs to the app first.
- Connect the speaker to your phone.
- Check volume by pressing the paddle button on both ROCs.
- Place the speaker at the center of the net or next to the net post.
- Position your phone 3 to 6 feet from the center of the court, avoiding major metallic objects between the phone and speaker.
What are the extra wristbands in the package for?
The extra wristbands allow the next group of players to prepare for their turn. When the game is over, the current players can quickly hand off the ROCs to the incoming players.
Are the ROCs water proof?
The ROCs are water-resistant but not fully waterproof. They can handle occasional exposure to water, such as rain, but should not be submerged.
Are the wristbands machine washable?
Yes, the wristbands are made of high-grade silicone and are machine washable.
What are the different lights on ROC mean?
The ROC features a tri-color LED light. **Flashing blue** indicates binding mode; once connected, it glows steady for 5 seconds before turning off. **Flashing green** means charging, while a steady green light indicates a full charge. If you press a button while connected to the app, a **red light** will flash once to confirm the signal was sent.
